The award winning IMPULSE orchestra play funky, swinging, world music inspired original jazz. Founded by saxophonist Brendan Hook, this ‘mini big band’ featuring a 5 piece horn section has been playing and developing our sound since 2017. In 2022 we won the Queensland Music Awards Jazz Category for our release Sonorous Figurine.
